As the main content of a Zettelkasten, permanent notes are notes created from fleeting notes or literature notes that add or connect to the slip-box. Each permanent note should be connected to other permanent notes. Add an entry point of sequences / clusters of notes into the index if the note is not connected indirectly to the index.
Permanent means "permanently useful," not "permanently unchanging". Try to keep your notes updated!
