Org-mode is a major mode of Emacs for viewing and editing the documents written in the markup language Org. Apart from its powerful core features such as outlining abilities useful for note-taking, Org-mode (and Org) has a wide array of features including support for running code blocks (org-babel), inline LaTeX & display math, to-do keywords and tags (capable of a GTD system), and complete customizability.
