The problem of cooperation concerns whether or not God has implicitly cooperated in creating evil through His inaction.
Leibniz disagrees with this idea, but but his arguments seem flawed:
- God wills the good in the world. The evils came as a side product. yet if He is omnipotent, why would He create a world with evil in it if He does not will it?
- Evil is logically impossible to avoid, since all creatures are finite and imperfect to some degree. But if He does not will evil, and He knows imperfect creatures bring evil, why does He create the world in the first place? Can’t He create perfect beings?
