Linear algebra is the branch of mathematics concerning linear equations such as: $a_1{x}_1+\cdots +a_n{x}_n=b,$, linear maps such as: $(x_1,\dots ,x_n)\mapsto a_1{x}_1+\dots +a_n{x}_n$, and their representations in vector spaces and through matrices.
