codomain

For a function $f\subseteq A\times B$, the set $B$ is the codomain. The codomain holds all possible values of $f$, but potentially with some extra elements as well. This is to say that not all elements in $B$ are necessarily mapped from an element in $A$, i.e., that not all elements in $B$ is a value of $f$.
